Become a member
Membership in ILDA is open to companies,
organizations and individuals who manufacture or use laser display
devices or services, and who pledge to uphold the ILDA Code of Ethics.

There are three ways to apply for a new membership, or renew your existing membership:
- Apply online -- use our online form. This is a secure, encrypted method so your credit card information is protected.
- Apply by fax -- download a form and fax to ILDA (click for fax number)
- Apply by phone -- call ILDA's Executive Director (click for phone number)
Payment
methods: You can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard,
American Express, Discover), PayPal, wire transfer, or checks
written on a U.S. bank. We can invoice you in advance, or you
can simply send payment and we send a receipt as soon as your
payment is processed. Membership does not start until the
payment is received and processed.
But before you can apply, first
you need to determine your ILDA Membership category, and your
dues level and amount. There are two main steps to do this.
STEP 1: ILDA Membership category
To begin, choose which of the four categories of membership is best for you:

| CORPORATE |
A company that
is involved with laser
displays and shows. This includes making
and presenting laser shows, manufacturing lasers and equipment
used in laser shows, and providing
lasershow-related services. |
| NONPROFIT |
Museums, schools,
planetariums, trade associations, national and local government
offices, and other not-for-profit organizations. |
| INDIVIDUAL |
A
person who is interested in lasers; this includes freelance laserists. |
| STUDENT |
A
person who is enrolled
full-time in an accredited school, college or university. |
Now that you have chosen a Membership category, next you have to determine your ILDA "dues level" and dues amount.

For Corporate members, there are three dues levels. The more lasershow-related income you made last year, the higher the dues level. To calculate your dues, start with Step 2a.

Nonprofit, Individual and Student members do not have dues levels. You can skip ahead to Step 2b.
