LDI LASER BOOTHS

AquaLaser
The Water Screen from Aqua Laser - you
can just see the bottom of a shape (defined by the absence of
water) starting to come down from the top of the screen. |
BlissLight
The BlissLight booth, unfortunately
for them surrounded by some of the brightest LED screens I have
ever seen. |

BlissLight on the wall of the ILDA Laser Theater. |

Chauvet
In the elegant Chauvet booth (complete
with live pianist and bar), I found this
laser product
"Scorpion GrafX", sitting all by itself doing nothing.
Coherent Lasers
The Coherent booth showing its new
solid state OPS lasers. I was told by those who have seen that
these beams are superb quality and divergence. |

hitting their little glowing beamstops. |

Image Engineering
Image Engineering with their Arctos
10W, quietly awaiting its day in the dark.

LaserDance (Mountain Megabytes)
The LazrBotz and BounzBots booth by
Mark Jacoby of LaserDance. These were DMX controlled laser bounce
mirrors, with 200mw green lasers installed. |

Laser Production Network
(LaserNet)
LaserNet's booth, a strong laser show
from afar. |

Lightwave International
George Dodworth
and his "pile o' lasers" in the ILDA booth.
[Lightwave was the ILDA Booth
sponsor and also the Gold Sponsor for the ILDA Laser Theater.
Owing to setup requirements, Lightwave's lasers were not added to
the theater until the last day, so we allowed them to show much
more equipment in the ILDA Booth than we would normally permit.]

LOBO
Alex Hennig and the LOBO booth, no
lasers but a very nice display, and Lothar Bopp was on hand as
well. |

OmniSistem
My favorite booth - OmniSistem. More
5mW laser dancing in one small space than
you can imagine. Wow!

ILDA LASER THEATER

ILDA Test Pattern
Test pattern from the audience
scanning projector on to the back wall of the ILDA Laser Theater.
You can see the slight fall-off in brightness as the image moves
into the audience space, in order to facilitate safe audience
scanning. Greg Makhov and Bill Benner were measuring the beam
divergence and power from the audience.

Sidewinder show
An image from my show Sidewinder,
programmed on the Lasergraph DSP, recorded onto ADAT HD24 via the
Showlink Transcoder by Raven Systems, dubbed to an ADAT tape,
mailed across country, and then recorded into a Pangolin system
for playback at the ILDA Laser Theater. Not bad!
Palenque 07 show
Psychedelic image
from my show Palenque 07. The graphics projector by Greg
Makhov and LSDI in the ILDA Laser Theater was superb! |

Palenque 07 ending from Laser
Spectacles.

Owww!
My favorite image captured from the
Safety Seminar by Greg Makhov and Bill Benner. Bill was sweeping a
laser pointer around, and caught this poor girl in the eye! |

Wall of lasers
On the last day, Lightwave set up
seven more lasers along the far wall of the ILDA Laser Theater.
These are them! The six side lasers are 2W Arctos, the center one
was 23W? 34W? Do we even care anymore?
You can tell my hands were shakin'
with excitement! |
